Open Call – Director of Index Foundation
Index Foundation seeks a Director to lead its strategic, cultural, and operational vision. The role involves steering the Foundation’s international programming, managing institutional resources, and shaping a platform for artistic, design, and social innovation. The Director will oversee all activities including exhibitions, public programs, and research initiatives, ensuring the Foundation remains influential in the global arts and design ecosystem. The position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of maintaining the Foundation’s excellence while expanding its reach and impact.

The Role Overview

Position & Tasks

  • Provide vision, leadership, and management of the Index Foundation.
  • Supervise staff, budgets, and operational processes.

  • Represent the Foundation in cultural and public forums.
  • Develop partnerships with artists, designers, institutions, and funders.
  • Ensure organisational growth, visibility, and long-term sustainability.
  • Report progress and updates to the Board of Directors.
