KHAL Gallery, located in the historic 5th arrondissement of Paris, was founded by the artist Karima. The gallery serves as a living space that bridges North African cultural heritage with the contemporary Parisian landscape. This open call is managed in partnership with Art Confidential, a specialized artists' agency.

2026 Late-Year Exhibition Open Call.
KHAL Gallery is seeking two or more artists to join its prestigious programming for the end of 2026. The gallery focuses on "living art"—works that resonate with personal and political narratives. Selected artists will have their work featured in a vibrant, engaged space that prioritizes the circulation of stories and identities.
Categories
All Mediums, including Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Installation, Performance, and Interdisciplinary Practices.
Eligibility
- Career Stage: Open to both emerging and established artists.
- Demographics: No restrictions on age, nationality, or background.
- Themes: Work must explore roots and cultural heritage, memory and transmission, or identity and personal narratives.
Program Benefits and Awards
- Exhibition: Inclusion in KHAL’s official exhibition program (September to December 2026).
- Capacity: Selection of 1 to 7 works depending on format and gallery curation.
- Logistics: The gallery covers return shipping for unsold works.
- Exposure: Professional showcase in the heart of Paris with marketing support from Art Confidential.
- Insurance: Works are covered by the gallery's insurance while on-site.
Fees
- Application Fee: €29.90 (non-refundable).
- Sales Commission: The gallery applies a 50% commission on the public sale price.

- Portfolio: A PDF or link showcasing recent work.
- Note of Intent: A statement explaining the artistic démarche and its relevance to the gallery's themes.
