Organizer Information
The Energie AG Traumstipendium is organized by the OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH in cooperation with Energie AG, Austria. The program supports innovative, conceptually-driven artistic projects where the journey itself is the central theme. Now in its 14th edition, the stipendium encourages artists to explore movement, route, duration, encounters, and the process of travel as integral components of their work, rather than focusing solely on a destination. Selected projects are realized as part of an Artist-in-Residency experience and exhibited at the Energie AG corporate headquarters.
Title & Description
Energie AG Traumstipendium 2026 – Artistic Travel as Creative Practice
The Traumstipendium 2026 invites artists to submit proposals where the journey itself becomes the artistic project. The program supports projects that are shaped by travel—through movement, duration, repetition, or encounters—and emphasizes the process, structure, and narrative of the journey rather than simply the destination. Artists are encouraged to develop highly original, conceptually clear works that integrate travel as a core element of their artistic practice. Winning projects receive funding for implementation and exhibition.
