The Role Overview

  • Institution: LAS Art Foundation, Berlin, Germany
  • Contract: Part-time internship
  • Salary: €400 per month
  • Location: Berlin, Germany (remote work possible in consultation with team)

Position & Tasks

  • Curatorial research tasks include ongoing artist, exhibition research, and travel itineraries.
  • Support of the team in the office and at exhibition sites (e.g., receiving and sending out deliveries).
  • Writing curatorial texts and translation EN to DE and vice versa.
  • Support senior team members with their travel planning.
  • Preparation and formatting of slide presentations.
  • Support with the organisation of events.
  • Maintenance of LAS visitor email account.
  • Updating tracking documents.
  • Support at events, including running the guest list and logistics.
  • Support in briefing and managing visitor services when exhibitions are on view.
  • Researching exhibition materials.

Who Can Apply?

  • have to do a mandatory internship as part of your studies, OR you have just finished school and you are not (yet) enrolled with any university.
  • are interested in art, technology, and science, and emerging ways of making and presenting art.
  • speak and write English and German at the C1 level/fluently.
  • They are organised and work detail-oriented.
  • Have experience in working with G Suite/Google.
