Located in the Neukölln district of Berlin, Germany, LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Kultur-Project Space operates as an independent non-profit cultural organization under Ad Finem gGmbH. Self-funded and non-grant-dependent for this project, LiTE-HAUS provides platforms for local and international contemporary artists to showcase work, connect with collectors, and participate in curated physical exhibitions.

Open Call for EU Artists: October Group Show in Berlin

LiTE-HAUS has launched an open call for EU-based visual artists to participate in a open-themed group exhibition taking place from October 8 to October 24, 2026 in Berlin. Designed without a restrictive theme to encourage diverse artistic expressions and attract wide audiences, the exhibition offers participating creators dedicated wall display units measuring 120 cm × 120 cm. Artists may fit multiple smaller artworks or a single large piece (maximum 120 cm × 120 cm including frames) into their allocated unit space. Due to installation guidelines, heavy or difficult-to-hang works cannot be accepted.

The call accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Illustration, and Lightweight Wall-Mounted Mixed Media.

Eligibility

  • Geographic Scope: Open strictly to visual artists based within the European Union (EU).
  • Artwork Constraints: Maximum dimensions of 120 cm × 120 cm per display unit (including frame). Work must be light enough for standard wall mounting.
  • Attendance: Artists are not required to attend the vernissage or exhibition in person.

Program Benefits & Support

  • Physical Gallery Display: Display in a high-ceiling gallery space in Neukölln, Berlin (Exhibition dates: Oct 8–24, 2026).
  • Services Provided: Professional artwork installation and gallery sitting throughout public hours (Tue–Fri 1–6 PM, Sat 11 AM–3 PM).
  • Opening Event: Featured placement during the public Vernissage on Thursday, October 8, 2026 (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM).

Application Fee & Co-Funding Donation

  • Application Fee: 100% free to apply (€0 entry fee).
  • Co-Funding Donation (Only for Accepted Artists): As a self-funded non-profit space, accepted artists co-fund the exhibition via a tier-based donation upon registration:
    • Top Row Display Unit (120 cm × 120 cm): €45 EUR (Ideal for single large works).
    • Bottom Row Display Unit (120 cm × 120 cm): €60 EUR (Preferable for multiple smaller works).
  • Gallery Commission: 30% commission taken on all artwork sales made during the exhibition.
