Job Title: Meadow Arts: Programme Manager Job Opportunity
Employer: Meadow Arts
Location: Hybrid (home-based with occasional in-person meetings/events)
Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) until 31 March 2027
Salary: £19,372 (£32,287 FTE)
Annual Leave: 21.6 days (pro rata, based on 36 FTE inc. bank holidays)
TOIL: Time Off in Lieu (overtime not paid)

Key Responsibilities

● Coordinate programme planning and delivery across artistic and engagement teams, including leading fortnightly planning sessions to ensure a cohesive, aligned programme.
● Liaise with partner organisations to ensure timely communication and smooth collaboration, escalating key issues and following up on required actions.
● Manage artist and supplier contracts, logistics for commissions or loans, and artwork deinstallation here required.
● Ensure compliance with procurement policies, securing fair pricing from external suppliers for artistic production and installation.
● Create and manage project and exhibition delivery plans, track milestones and budgets and address issues promptly.
● Lead evaluation processes, including:
○ ACE Evaluation:
Illuminate surveys (Culture Counts), quarterly reports (Activity Plan for Outcomes, Investment Principles), ACE Annual Return & annual Julie’s Bicycle environmental reporting.
○ Other Evaluation:
Ensure project documentation, monitoring and evaluation is undertaken across the programme to evidence impact and effectiveness.
● Maintain up-to-date evaluation records to support internal reporting and ensure organisational responsiveness to audience and participant feedback.
● Support development of a broader (non-digital) marketing and brand strategy aligned with organisational goals.
● Provide timely programme content to the Digital Comms Officer and contribute to public interpretation materials, coordinating design and print with freelance designers as needed.
● Assist the Executive Director in maintaining efficient organisational systems, policies, and workflows.
● Support day-to-day administration, including file organisation (Google Drive/Dropbox), accurate note-taking, and prompt sharing of meeting summaries.
● Act as an ambassador for Meadow Arts across the region.
