Miami Art Week™ is a year-round arts, culture, and media platform owned and managed by Miami Art Week, LLC, based in Miami, Florida. Each December, Miami Art Week transforms Greater Miami into a hub of contemporary art activity, encompassing more than 20 independently operated art fairs, over 1,200 galleries, and thousands of artists, collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts. Since 2017, the organization has also operated a year-round multimedia platform connecting individual artists, galleries, and arts organizations with collectors and audiences worldwide. Miami Art Week's official 2026 programming includes the arteNXT™ and photoMIAMI® curated gallery exhibitions, the Miami Art Week Kickoff Party, Art Coral Gables®, the inaugural ARTWEEK™ Miami Media Festival, and a Forum & Panel Discussion Series. The organization's broader charitable arm, the Art Week Global Foundation, a Florida-based nonprofit, supports arts education, public programming, and opportunities intended to strengthen Miami's creative ecosystem.

arteNXT™ is an official Miami Art Week™ exhibition produced and managed by Miami Art Week, LLC, celebrating contemporary art. It showcases emerging, mid-career, and established artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, drawing, printmaking, digital art, AI-assisted art, installation, textile art, ceramics, and glass, presented within a professionally curated gallery environment at the Miami Art Week Gallery in Miami's Wynwood Arts District. Artists worldwide are invited to apply to exhibit during Miami Art Week™ 2026, with gallery representation not required.

Eligibility

  • Open internationally to visual artists, galleries, artist collectives, curators, designers, nonprofit arts organizations, and other creative practitioners presenting contemporary visual artwork
  • Gallery representation is not required
  • Applicants must submit original artwork that is created, owned, or lawfully represented by the applicant
  • Submitted artwork must be available for exhibition during Miami Art Week™ 2026
  • Applicants must be able to deliver, install, and remove their artwork according to the published exhibition schedule
  • Applicants must comply with the Exhibition Guidelines, Terms & Conditions of Participation, venue requirements, and the Exhibitor Agreement if accepted
  • AI-assisted and AI-generated artwork is welcome, provided the applicant holds all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the submitted work

Application Fee

  • Application fee: US$34 (covers submission of up to 10 pieces), charged upon submission and non-refundable regardless of the application's outcome
  • Upon acceptance, an exhibition/participation fee applies based on space tier: Tier I (Main Gallery Location) — $1,199; Tier II (Secondary Gallery Location) — $999
  • An optional space upgrade (to approximately 6 linear feet) is available for an additional 20% of the applicable exhibition fee; premium space near the gallery entrance is available in limited quantities by contacting Exhibitor Services for pricing
  • Per the general Exhibitor Agreement, 50% of the exhibition fee is due upon acceptance, with the balance due by the deadline stated in the Acceptance Letter or invoice; all payments are made in U.S. dollars
  • A Co-Exhibitor Fee of $400 applies if another artist, gallery, or organization is approved to share the same exhibition space
  • Application and exhibition/participation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Note: application fees are reported to increase after an August 31, 2026 early deadline, though the specific increased amount is not stated in the source

  • Applications are reviewed through a competitive curatorial selection process based on artistic merit, originality, technical execution, presentation quality, and overall fit with the exhibition; submission does not guarantee acceptance
  • Artists retain all ownership and copyright of submitted and exhibited artwork; submission does not transfer intellectual property rights to arteNXT™, Miami Art Week™, or Miami Art Week, LLC
  • Applicants grant Miami Art Week, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted images for exhibition administration, jury review, marketing, publicity, press coverage, websites, social media, catalogs, educational programming, and archival purposes; under the broader Exhibitor Agreement, this license is described as perpetual and irrevocable for accepted Exhibitor Materials
  • Exhibitors are solely responsible for the transportation, insurance, security, and handling of their artwork before, during, and after the event; Miami Art Week does not insure exhibitor property and provides only general event security
  • Exhibitors are responsible for compliance with applicable laws, customs and import/export requirements, sales tax collection and remittance, and any licenses or permits needed for participation
  • The event is governed by Florida law, with disputes to be resolved in Miami-Dade County courts or, at the Organizer's election, through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Miami-Dade County
  • Organizer reserves the right to modify floor plans, exhibition layouts, or artwork placement, and to postpone, relocate, or cancel the event due to force majeure circumstances
  • A professional code of conduct applies to all participants; violations may result in removal without refund
