Short Description

JAT - Janela Aberta Teatro is launching an OPEN CALL for companies and professional artists, national or foreign, in the various areas of Physical Theatre, who would like to present their work at the 3rd edition of MOMI - International Physical Theatre Festival – Algarve, which will take place from the 6th to the 9th of November 2025 in the city of Faro. With the aim of contributing to the development of Physical Theatre in Portugal and with the will power and conviction to create new spaces for contact between creators, artists, programmers and the community, responding to the desires of a sector in full evolution, MOMI - International Physical Theatre Festival - Algarve was born.  

Submission Requirements

● Dossier of the show; ● Technical and artistic list; ● Three photos of the show (in good quality); ● Video link of the complete show (NO PROJECTS IN THE REHEARSAL STAGE ARE ACCEPTED), the video must be viewable directly online (via the link); ● Show trailer link; ● Financial conditions of the show; ● Number of people on tour; ● Company's artistic CV.  

How to Apply

Applications must be formalized by sending the necessary documentation by email, in Portuguese, English or Spanish, and sent to opencallmomi2025@gmail.com  

Program Benefits & Awards:

● To pay the accommodation and food costs of the company members required for the performance on the performance and assembly days; ● Technical support in setting up the show [sound/lighting]; ● Include the selected projects in the Festival program; ● Contribute a financial amount, to be agreed between the parties, as an artistic fee.
