Short Description:

The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is Switzerland’s leading museum for design and visual communication. Its collection comprises over half a million objects from the history of graphic arts and design and is of international importance. As part of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), the museum is committed to research and teaching and regularly produces its own publications. At its three locations in Zurich – on Ausstellungsstrasse, on the Toni-Areal campus, and in the Le Corbusier Pavilion – as well as through traveling exhibitions and digital media, the museum reaches a broad, international audience.

For the Exhibitions Department, we are seeking a position for a period of one year, starting in December 2025.

Your tasks:
You will support the curator in the development and implementation of exhibitions, as well as accompanying publication projects and educational programs. You will also gain insight into the museum’s various departments.

Eligibility:

You hold a university degree (preferably a master’s degree) in a field that aligns with the profile of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and are curious about and have career aspirations in the field of curating. You possess excellent oral and written language skills in German, English, and ideally French, as well as good computer skills, preferably with a working knowledge of graphic programs. You are proactive, flexible, service-oriented, and able to work independently and reliably.
