The institution values diversity, critical engagement, and providing a platform for new artistic voices and media.
Title & Description
Open Call 2027 — O—Overgaden Exhibition Program
- O—Overgaden invites artists to apply to be part of its 2027 exhibition program.
- Rather than asking for a ready-made exhibition proposal, the call asks artists to submit based on their overall artistic practice: its development over recent years, methods, ongoing transformations, and envisioned future directions.
- The institution aims to adapt to the artist’s practice rather than asking the artist to adapt to a fixed institutional framework. This allows room for experimentation, unexpected turns, material or conceptual shifts — supporting the evolution of the work in close collaboration between the artist and O—Overgaden’s curatorial and technical team.
- The open call is focused on solo shows — whether a single artist, an artist duo, a collective, or an artist working with a curator.
