Short Description
The open call “Organum Novum”, launched by the social promotion association “Nuovi Territori Sonori”, aims to promote the creation of musical compositions for organ, with or without electronics, in world premiere. The three best works will be selected by a special commission and included in the repertoire of “Nuovi Territori Sonori”. It is expected to be performed in at least two concerts organized by the association, in the current calendar year. The compositions that stand out will be the subject of proposals to music publishers for publication.

The three best works will be selected by a dedicated jury and included in the repertoire of “Nuovi Territori Sonori”. A performance is planned in at least two concerts organized by the association during the current calendar year. The most outstanding compositions will be proposed to music publishers for publication.
Eligibility
Participation is reserved only for new members of the “Nuovi Territori Sonori” association, with no age or nationality restrictions.
Submission Requirements
● One PDF score for each submitted composition, bearing the full name of the composer, and a second, anonymous copy labeled with a motto, along with any audio files containing the electronic part. It is recommended to attach MP3 and/or MIDI audio files of the instrumental part illustrating the interpretative concept, possibly integrated with electronics;
● A copy of a valid identity document;
● A copy of the payment receipt for each submitted piece, to be made via bank transfer to the following IBAN: IT68V0623003413000057374382
The payment must include the reference: “NAME SURNAME – REGISTRATION ‘ORGANUM NOVUM’”
● A short CV of the composer (max 1000 characters);
● A description of each submitted composition (max 2000 characters);
● A self-declaration stating that each submitted work has never been performed.

Program Benefits & Awards
Entry Fee
A membership fee of €40 is required, which corresponds to registration with the promoting association. It is possibile to partecipate in the competition with multiple compositions, paying a participation fee of €20 for each work presented beyond the first one.
