Short Description
The VILLA PÉROCHON — CACP, the SWISS LIFE FOUNDATION and the ADAGP are committed to supporting contemporary photographic creation by creating the Photography & Science Prize, with the media partners Fisheye and Sciences et Avenir – La Recherche. This annual prize is intended for all professional photographers on the French scene (French creators or artists working and/or residing in France, regardless of their nationality) developing an author’s photography. An endowment of 6,000 euros will support the winning photographer in finalizing a photographic series in progress, which combines photography (in all its forms) and science (all disciplines combined), in France and/or abroad. The remuneration of the winning photographer is included in the prize. At the end of the first exhibition at the Villa Pérochon in the autumn of 2026, the Villa Pérochon will do everything possible, in conjunction with the winner, to facilitate the circulation of the existing exhibition within cultural structures, including those of the Diagonal network
, a national network bringing together structures for the production and dissemination of contemporary photography in France (the cost of transporting the works to and from and the remuneration of the will be taken care of by the host structure). The winner will also benefit from dedicated communication with media partners. The presentation of the complete series will also be the subject of a round table with screening at the ADAGP in Paris (mandatory presence of the winner).
