Its activities focus on discovering emerging and established talent, encouraging diverse perspectives, and expanding the role of photography and visual storytelling within contemporary culture.
Title & Description
PhotoVogue - Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion
Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion is PhotoVogue’s 2026 Global Open Call, inviting photographers and video makers worldwide to create work that challenges indifference, disrupts familiar visual conventions, and proposes new ways of seeing. Rather than asking artists to illustrate a specific subject or theme, the open call asks applicants to take a position in relation to the world around them.
PhotoVogue is particularly interested in work with a distinct point of view, strong visual language, emotional impact, and a sense of urgency or necessity. Projects may explore intimacy, care, confrontation, resistance, invention, disobedience, new aesthetics, or imagined futures. Submissions can come from fashion, documentary, portraiture, fine art, experimental practices, or other forms of contemporary image-making.
