Organizer Information
The City of Paris, through its Department of Cultural Affairs (Direction des Affaires culturelles), Sub-Directorate for Artistic Creation and Bureau des Arts Visuels, is launching the 2027 call for projects for the Pont Saint-Ange Exhibition Space. The City uses this program to support contemporary artistic creation and increase public access to photography in an urban environment. Established in 2018 as part of the Barbès–Stalingrad urban promenade project, the Pont Saint-Ange space provides a prominent public exhibition setting between Paris’s 10th and 18th arrondissements.
Title & Description
Pont Saint-Ange Exhibition Call 2027 in Paris
The 2027 Pont Saint-Ange Exhibition Space Call for Projects invites cultural associations, artist collectives, and artistic production or dissemination organizations to propose photographic exhibitions for presentation in Paris during 2027. The selected projects may be monographic or collective and should be conceived specifically for a large-scale, freely accessible public space.
The exhibition site contains 54 metal frames installed on the northern and southern railings of the Pont Saint-Ange, overlooking the railway tracks of Gare du Nord. Each year, four exhibitions are presented, with each exhibition lasting approximately three months. Proposals must include at least 50 visual works, alongside four text panels, and must be suitable for reproduction as 100 × 150 cm landscape-format Dibond panels.
The City particularly welcomes projects addressing themes such as youth, urban practices and uses, transformations of the city, and contemporary issues capable of engaging a broad audience. Proposed works must be in color, visually impactful, and appropriate for a diverse public including families and young people.
