Short Description
PROYECTOR is a platform aimed at the dissemination of the moving image, emphasizing its more experimental, contemporary, and engaging character. Our vocation is to generate relationships with artists, art centres, curators, collectors and professionals in the sector that allow visibility, training activities and production for creators.
Selected works will be part of PROYECTOR 2026 Festival, which will take place from September 09th to 20th, 2026, maybe for a longer time in some of the venues. These works will be presented in the form of performances, screenings or video installations in the different venues with which the festival collaborates, and they may be included in international curatorships we celebrate. They will be screened online during the hours in which the physical opening of the space is celebrated in the festival or the exhibitions.
Eligibility
Work formats accepted: expanded cinema (Super 8, 16mm), video art in single-channel, video installations (multi-channel, interactive, video interventions), and live video performances. “Not cinema normative” pieces will be positively valued (single-channel, 16/9, horizontal, HD-4K). Experimentation, the site specific and the relationship with the spectator, the body, the scale, and with the space that holds the work are well valued.
All digital videos or documentation of the installations or performances must be online, free access or, in case they have a password, allow access to the account proyectorvideoartfestival@gmail.com.
