Radio28 International Program (IP) is a dynamic platform based in Mexico City that brings together creatives from around the world to foster innovation, experimentation, and the development of lasting artistic communities.

Eligibility

At Radio28CS, the organization brings together and strengthens Mexico City’s artistic community. It focuses on developing artists’ technical skills in areas such as mold-making, casting, printmaking, woodworking, metalwork, and access to advanced fabrication technologies. The platform’s goal is to help artists elevate and refine their contemporary practices. Each participant receives individualized professional mentoring tailored to their specific materials and creative approach, ensuring a deeply personal and enriching experience.

    Facilities & Amenities
    • Radio28 includes a shared kitchen, bathroom, workspaces (desks, chairs, tables).
    • Access to all workshops and facilities within the studio.
    • Shared studio workspaces, 24/7.
    Workshops & Equipment
    • Wood Workshop: Table saw, jigsaw, circular saw, power drills, hammers, belt sander, palm-grip sander, riveting machine, compound miter saw, drill press, welding machine, Dremel, electric angle grinder, router, wood & metal tables, extension cables.
    • Mold Making & Casting Workshop: Ventilation area, compressor, scale, material mixing equipment, hotplate, heating lamp.
    • Printmaking Workshop: Etching press, paper press, aquatint box, offset and typography inks, sugar-lift, screen printing machine, silk screens (UV process requires an external supplier), iron, heat gun, and materials for printmaking (linoleum, siligraphy, woodcut, and metal engraving).

Payment Schedule

  • Registration Fee: 7,000 MXN (deducted from the total) – to be paid upon acceptance.
  • Second Payment: 8,000 MXN – to be paid prior to the interview stage.
  • Final Payment: 10,000 MXN – to be paid 15 days before the start of the program.
