We are looking for photographs for a gallery exhibition, to explore, express and document resistance.
Beyond the requirement that light was captured somewhere in the process of making of your work, there are no limits to the resistance you represent.

Open to all photo-based work with no limit on subject matter or technique. Entries will be judged individually for this juried call for photography that represents, expresses or documents resistance, seen or unseen.
Size Limit: Maximum size 48” including the frame. Artists may have multiple pieces (diptych, triptych etc.) to make up one work.
In-Person Delivery of Accepted Work: In-person deliveries will be accepted July 12th, noon till 5:30pm or by appointment. The RICPA Gallery is located on the 2nd Floor at 118 North Main Street Providence, RI
Application Requirements:
One or more photo based images to be juried individually. Work must be your original creation.
Eligibility:
Artists of all levels who are at least 18 years or older are invited to enter.
Program Benefits or Awards:
In keeping with the underlying theme of resistance, prizes will be awarded in the form of donations to the following service organizations and charities.
First Prize: $200 Donation to American Civil Liberties Union
Second Prize: $200 Donated to Southern Poverty Law Center
Third Prize: $200 Donated to Tunnels to Towers Foundation
