Invitational Artist in Residence Program

Organizer:

RuptureXIBIT

About the Organizer:

RuptureXIBIT is an artist-run space located in Hampton Wick, London — just 30 minutes from Waterloo Station. Dedicated to fostering the development of artistic practice across disciplines, RuptureXIBIT provides artists with space, time, and support to experiment, reflect, and grow through residencies, exhibitions, and collaborative projects.

About the Program:

Once a quarter, RuptureXIBIT hosts an Invitational Artist in Residence. These residencies offer space and time for artists with established practices to explore new directions, interrogate existing ideas, or experiment with different media and approaches.

Invitational Residents are required to give an artist talk and host an open studio event. While artists are not required to produce a final work, they may choose to hold an exhibition at the conclusion of their residency.
