Title & Description

3D Holographic Exhibition: Paris & London Activations

São Rafael Galleries is seeking experimental visual and video creators for a dual-location international exhibition series charting "The Holographic Frontier." The program is designed to explore the boundaries between physical presence and digital abstraction, translating fine art concepts into three-dimensional, floating visual environments. Selected works will be showcased across two elite cultural events: a physical 130cm 3D holographic installation set aboard a luxury yacht presentation during Paris Fashion Week, and a dynamic, reactive video mapping environment serving as a runway backdrop for the Empório Aragão show during London Fashion Week. This opportunity offers a high-impact stage for artists to master spatial storytelling and exhibit inside unconventional, exclusive public circles.

Categories

The open call is dedicated to Video Art, 3D Animation, Motion Graphics, Experimental Photography, and Digital/Visual Arts. Traditional fine artists looking to translate physical textures, depths, and spatial geometry into three-dimensional light forms are highly encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

  • Geographic Scope: Open globally to all national and international artists.
  • Practice Level: Welcomes emerging, mid-career, and established creators.
  • Technical Requirement: The call does not target fashion designers; instead, it looks for practitioners focused on digital innovation, depth rendering, and architectural light mastery.

Program Benefits & Awards

  • Dual-City Exhibition: Dual-city showcase visibility across major European fashion and art capitals (Paris and London) during their highest-traffic seasonal weeks.
  • Holographic Adaptation: Technical rendering and mapping of individual visual outputs onto specialized 130cm 3D holographic equipment floating in space.
  • Immersive Scale Production: Conversion of video entries into ambient, large-scale event projections within live performative presentations.
  • Global Art Network: Promotional indexing within São Rafael Galleries' contemporary art catalog, connecting works with high-tier collectors and digital art professionals.

Application Fee

  • Initial Evaluation: Free of charge. There is no fee required to submit initial portfolios for curatorial review.
  • Selected Participation Fee: A flat administrative and curation fee of €250 is applied exclusively to chosen artists following formal acceptance. This fee covers digital production costs, on-site technical implementation, hardware management, and event logistics across both the Paris and London showcase stages.

Application Requirements

Artists can submit up to 3 select pieces for evaluation. Submissions must be written in English and contain:

  1. Dossier Data: A brief background overview of the artist's path, link to an online portfolio, and contact details.
  2. Project Proposal: A short statement of a maximum of 200 words situating the submitted files in relation to the theme of technological or visual impact.
  3. Media Files: High-resolution uploads or secure folder links. Still visual works must be sent as JPG or PNG files (to be structurally adapted for the 3D hologram rig), while video loops or motion pieces must be submitted as MP4 or MOV formats. All works must be strictly original.

How to Apply?

All portfolios, proposals, and project assets must be compiled and emailed directly to the curatorial team using the designated institutional mailbox.

  • Application Email: saorafaelgalleries@gmail.com

Key Dates

  • Application Submission Deadline: August 31, 2026
  • Exhibition Activation Windows: Scheduled around the official Autumn/Winter calendar tracks for Paris and London Fashion Weeks in late 2026.

Location

Portfolio submission and technical software testing occur completely Online. The physical installation loops deploy live aboard a luxury yacht in Paris, France, and within an immersive runway venue in London, United Kingdom.

Additional Details

Because 3D holography projects require specific adjustments to achieve optimal floating visual depth, the curatorial team will prioritize works displaying stark texture, high-contrast values, and rich structural layouts. Selected creators will receive direct confirmation layout instructions via email within the review cycle.
