These grants are awarded to promote individual artistic achievement and enable creators to focus exclusively on a new project without immediate financial pressure. The foundation prioritizes projects that demonstrate high artistic quality, originality, and a clear plan for feasibility.

Eligibility
- Professional Status: Open exclusively to freelance artists who are self-employed as their primary source of income.
- Residency: Applicants must generally have their primary residence in Saxony-Anhalt.
- Exclusions: School pupils, university students (including Master students), and those in vocational training are not eligible.
- Exclusivity: No other institutional funding may be received for the same project during the grant period.
Program Benefits and Awards
- Monthly Stipend: €1,500 per month.
- Duration: Typically 3 or 6 months.
- Maximum Support: A single project can be funded for up to 12 months in total (requires a progress report and re-application after the initial term).
- Flexibility: Grants can be used for working residencies both within Germany and abroad.

Additional Details
For collaborative projects, each member of the collective must submit an individual application.
