Short Description

The SCHIELE AWARD is an art prize that has been awarded every two years since 2022 and offers artists a platform to present their work to a wider audience. In the birthplace of Egon Schiele, the ROTARY CLUB TULLN has set itself the goal of promoting contemporary artistic practices in discourse with contemporary issues and at the same time providing humanitarian aid in accordance with its social principles.

Eligibility

The SCHIELE AWARD 2026 is aimed at young artists from Austria and abroad who live in Austria and have not yet exceeded the age of 28 – a tribute to Egon Schiele’s early death.

In addition, the SCHIELE AWARD 2026 invites for the first time already established artists – including Eduard Angeli, Anni Fuchs (Ernst Fuchs), Peter Kogler, Hannes Mlenek, Roman Scheidl, Amos Schueller (Soshana), Linde Waber – to donate one of their works to the charity auction and to sponsor one of the works of art nominated by the jury. Mentoring includes advice and support for artistic development.

Program Benefits & Awards

The prize is endowed with € 10,000. The works nominated by a top-class jury will be offered for auction as part of an auction with an exhibition.
