Short Description Scope BLN is a contemporary art platform in Berlin that combines living, working, and showcasing art. It features an Artists-in-Residence program, an exhibition space, and public events, connecting local and international creatives to explore art, culture, and innovation. The residency offers multidisciplinary artists a chance to present their work and expand their networks. The exhibition space collaborates with artists and curators to foster community engagement and attract new audiences for contemporary art. Overall, Scope BLN aims to build a community of international creatives focused on redefining living spaces through the impact of art on society.   Residency Duration: between 6 and 12 months Benefits:  - A single fully furnished room

The exhibition will be accompanied by public artists talk, photo and vide documentation.   Eligibility The open call is intended for artists and curators, working in the fields of contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, installation, multimedia, video, film, digital art, sound, performance or multidisciplinary forms without any restrictions on their age and gender.   requirements

- Interest in Berlin art scene
- A project in the field of contemporary art to work on during the residency 

- Funds to cover the monthly fee and living expenses in Berlin

- Awareness of community requirements
- Good knowledge of English or German

Please specify how long you would like your residence to be (between 6 and 12 months).

The selected artists will have to sign a preliminary agreement with Scope BLN and transfer a deposit of 10 % of the amount for the entire program which will be returned after the end of the residence.

Total monthly fee to be paid by the artist in residence – 1300 € 

For an artistic duo the monthly fee is - 1600 € 

​Scope BLN will gladly provide letter of acceptance for the grants / funding applications process undertaken personally by the artists.
