Short Description
This is a unique six-month intensive opportunity to focus on your practice in a supportive and inspiring environment, to gain confidence in your creative career, and connect with a community of peers and professionals to support your development.
Eligibility
The program welcomes applications from artists at an early stage of their career, those returning to practice after a break, and individuals able to commit a minimum of two days per week to developing their creative work within a professional context.
Applications are open to creatives throughout the United Kingdom. Selected artists are expected to maintain a presence in Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire for at least two days each week during the program period.

Program Benefits & Awards
- Fully funded (FREE) studio space for 6 months for each artist (November – May 2026)
- Professional mentoring – 1:1 tailored support
- Group development sessions – workshops, discussions, and skill-sharing with experienced artists and arts professionals
- Introductions to arts organisations, producers, curators, and galleries in the region, with funded visits to three towns and cities
- Collaboration with fellow Studio School artists
- A group exhibition at Fountain Arts (April – May 2026)
