Organizer Information
Ses12naus is a non-profit organisation founded in 2016 to strengthen Ibiza’s cultural and artistic ecosystem and contribute to the island’s development as an international centre for contemporary artistic creation. Its programme includes artistic residencies, exhibitions and public programmes designed to support artistic production, cultural exchange and new perspectives connected to Ibiza and its communities.
Title & Description
Ses12naus opens its 2026-2027 artistic residency call
Two-Phase Residency in Ibiza for Visual Artists and Curators 2026–2027 is a six-week residency divided into two three-week phases. The programme supports artists and curators in developing a new project, continuing an existing research project or completing a larger ongoing work.
The first phase focuses on research, exploration and immersion in the territory of Ibiza, with residents expected to organise a public activity connected to their research or production process. During the second phase, participants return to Ibiza to produce their work, continue their curatorial research and present the project publicly.
Projects exploring Ibiza’s communities, imaginaries, cultural heritage and natural environment are particularly encouraged. The programme values proposals that establish meaningful connections with the island and contribute positively to the applicant’s professional development.

Residents must dedicate their residency to the submitted project, participate in activities organised by the Foundation, and submit a final report after the second phase. Selected participants must also acknowledge Ses12naus in future communications when presenting or publishing work developed during the residency.
The programme does not constitute an employment relationship with the Foundation. Participation implies acceptance of the residency terms.
