SINOPIA offers a residency program for artists in Greece, providing accommodation and studio access for short stays (minimum one week). The program is designed for small groups (2 to 4 artists) and includes cultural excursions.

 

Information & Application Details:

  • Residency Periods:
    • P1 (Summer 2025): June – October (Deadline: March 31, 2025)
    • P2 (Winter 2025-2026): November – February (Deadline: October 30, 2025)
  • Duration: Minimum 1 week
  • Capacity: 2 to 4 participants per period
  • Accommodation Cost: €470 for 7 days (includes studio use and a day trip to Nafplio & Epidaurus)
  • Special Discounts:
    • Free for children
    • 20% discount for partners and friends
  • Health Insurance: Participants must arrange their own travel and health insurance before arriving.

 

Eligibility:

  • Open to artists worldwide
  • Suitable for small artist groups

 

How to Apply:

  • Submit an application along with a signed contract agreeing to the residency terms.
  • Candidates will be selected based on availability and suitability.
  • Notification of selection will be sent within a week after the application deadline.

 

Submission Requirements:

  • Completed application form
  • Signed contract outlining residency terms
  • Deposit payment (30% of the total fee)

 

Selection Process:

  • Limited slots (2-4 artists per period)
  • Applications reviewed based on artistic practice and suitability for the residency
  • Selected artists will receive confirmation within one week of the deadline

    • 50% refund (minus €30 admin fee) if canceled at least 15 days before arrival
    • Option to reschedule within one year (subject to availability)
