SKOG is an art space on Galgeberg in Oslo, established in autumn 2022, prioritizing exhibitions with material-based art and newly established artists. The space is built on the foundation of Skogen design, a vintage interior shop run by Brian Noguera-Gabrielli and Kim Noguera Gabrielli from 2014 to 2022. SKOG was founded by Ane Kristine Djupedal, Brian Noguera-Gabrielli, Kim Noguera Gabrielli, and Felipe M Djupedal in 2022, with a board that today also includes Ebbe Arneberg, Paola Simone, Tonje Plur, and Benjamin Apse, drawing on backgrounds spanning working artists, finance, communication, architecture, design, the UN, and non-profit organizations. SKOG's name means "forest" in Norwegian, and the space describes itself as something between a gallery, a studio, and a collection — it actively facilitates cross-generational exchange by often programming a newly established and a more experienced artist together in the same exhibition.

SKOG Open Call 2027
SKOG invites artists to apply for exhibitions taking place at its Oslo gallery in 2027. The open call welcomes proposals from both emerging and established artists working across all media and techniques, for solo or group exhibition formats. SKOG notes that many of its exhibitions are developed collaboratively through the curatorial process, and selected artists may be invited to exhibit alongside others as part of a curated group show — applicants are encouraged to remain open to dialogue and collaboration as the exhibition develops.

- Applicants should be open to potentially being paired with other artists in a curated group exhibition as part of SKOG's curatorial process
