Title & Description
Sound Art Lab Residency
The Sound Art Lab Artist Residency supports the research, experimentation, and development of artistic projects in sound art and related disciplines. The program offers artists time, space, technical resources, and professional support to explore new ideas, develop existing projects, and experiment with sound-based artistic practices.
Residents can use the facilities according to their individual project requirements. The program does not generally require participants to produce a finished artwork by the end of their stay. Instead, artists are expected to document their residency through appropriate formats, including sound recordings, photographs, videos, or written material, and share the documentation with Sound Art Lab for possible publication through its communication channels.
Subject to prior agreement, residents may also present their work publicly through formats such as performances, exhibitions, artist talks, soundwalks, listening sessions, panel discussions, or digital and physical documentation. Residency duration is arranged individually, with stays of at least one month encouraged.
