Sounding Ground: Improvising with the Elements — Sound Residency with Laura Misch in Cornwall
Dyski has opened applications for Sounding Ground: Improvising with the Elements, a 5-day sound residency led by London-born saxophonist, composer, and sound artist Laura Misch (author of Sample the Sky, Sample the Earth, and Lithic), in collaboration with Dyski founder Dion Star. Hosted in private ancient oak woodland along the Helford River in Cornwall from March 6 to March 11, 2027, the residency brings a small group together for structured workshops, daily field recording, building ephemeral instruments from local stone and wood, 1-on-1 mentoring, and informal listening performances.
