Description:
Tenthaus invites artists, collectives, and arts workers worldwide to apply for Sequence 2026, a program exploring sequence and process as artistic mediums. The initiative seeks projects that engage with the evolving and uncertain nature of the present, using ordered progressions of ideas, actions, and responses to create meaning in flux.
Eligibility & Theme
Open to individual artists, collectives, arts workers, and interdisciplinary practitioners worldwide.
Applicants from outside the EU and Schengen area can receive visa assistance.
Emphasis on process-driven and sequence-based artistic or curatorial practices.
Selected participants will explore how art evolves with shifting realities, with support for documentation and archiving.
Application & Submission Requirements
Deadline: February 28, 2025, 23:59 CET.
Submission materials:
A short description (max 500 words) of artistic practice and approach to sequence/process.
A proposal (max 700 words) detailing the intended contribution, including plans for real-time documentation and archiving.
Up to 10 pages of previous work in a single PDF (max 10 MB).
