Short Description

The Mustaqbal Prize is an annual competition to promote young contemporary creation, a competition reserved for Moroccan or foreign artists residing in Morocco, trained or self-taught. Since 2021, a jury of experts has carefully selected a dozen talented artists, who have the opportunity to exhibit their works in Artorium, the art space of the TGCC Foundation.

Eligibility

For its fifth edition, the competition is aimed at amateur or professional artists aged 18 to 35, expressing themselves on the mediums of drawing, painting, photography and installation. In continuity with the previous edition, the competition does not impose any theme, thus offering candidates the freedom to submit an existing or ongoing project. With the prize, the winning artist will be able to fully develop his or her project in a solo exhibition in November 2026.

Submission Requirements

  • High definition visuals of 4 to 8 works available (all works must be available to be exhibited during the group exhibition, this includes fine art prints for photographers).
  • A portfolio (maximum 15 pages).
  • A biographical text.
  • The statement of intent, including the artistic approach (maximum 1 page).
  • An existing or intentional artistic project, accompanied by the purpose of the project and sketches or visuals (maximum 1 page).
  • The declaration of honour duly completed and signed.
