The Design MasterPrize (DMP) is a globally recognised design award program dedicated to celebrating innovation and excellence across the fields of product, graphic, communication, and related design disciplines. The prize operates under the umbrella of the Farmani Group, an organisation that curates and promotes prestigious awards and exhibitions in design, architecture, photography, and the visual arts internationally. The DMP was created as a sister award to the well‑established Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) and shares its commitment to elevating outstanding creative work on a global platform. Design MasterPrize 2026

A premier international awards programme celebrating visionary design and creative innovation. The DMP recognises excellence in design that enriches lives, drives industry change, and pushes the boundaries of aesthetics, sustainability, and functionality. Participants are invited to submit original projects in multiple design categories, including product design, graphic design, communication design, UI/UX, packaging, and more. The programme highlights work that demonstrates artistic vision, technical skill, cultural relevance, and innovative solutions to real‑world challenges. Winners receive distinction at various award levels — from winner recognitions to the prestigious “Best of Best” title in each main design category. DMP’s mission is not only to award outstanding designers but also to amplify their work through global exposure, strategic promotion, and integration into design discourse worldwide.

Categories

DMP encompasses a broad spectrum of design disciplines, structured into 29 categories. These span two main areas:

  • Product Design — Automotive & transport, consumer goods, industrial products, sustainable design, homeware, outdoor goods, toys & games, accessories, etc.
  • Graphic & Communication Design — Branding & identity, advertising, UI/UX, packaging, editorial design, posters, digital media, web design, typography, sound design, animation & film, and more.

Eligibility

  • Open Worldwide: Designers, engineers, creative professionals, studios, and teams from any country may apply.
  • All Experience Levels: There are no age or experience restrictions; professionals and students alike can participate.
  • Multiple Entries: Applicants may submit more than one project in separate categories, each evaluated independently.

Application Fee

  • Professionals: Entry fees start from approximately 225 € during early entry.
  • Students: Discounts often apply, with student fees from around 50 € in early entry.
  • Category Discounts: Additional categories in the same application benefit from approximately a 30 % reduction in fees.
  • Payment Method: Payment is processed via Stripe, accepting major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc.).

Application Requirements

  • Applicant Information: Basic personal or company details.
  • Project Details: Description, design concept, objectives, and impact.
  • Visual Documentation: High‑quality images or media of the work (professional imagery recommended).

    No explicit additional documents (such as CV or motivation letters) are mandated, though a thoughtful project context enhances jury evaluation.
