New Emergence Art is an independent platform established to give emerging and underrepresented artists a voice, recognition, and lasting visibility. The organization hosts virtual programs designed to eliminate geographical barriers for creators worldwide.

The New Emergence Art Prize 2026.
This international open call invites emerging artists to submit original work representing their practice. There is no set theme, and entries are welcomed across any creative medium. An independent judging panel reviews submissions based on concept, execution, originality, and impact. Shortlisted practitioners will be showcased in a dedicated online gallery exhibition.

Eligibility
Open to emerging artists globally. Artworks must be original creations that reflect the current direction and quality of the artist’s studio practice.
AWARD CATEGORIES & TIERS
The collective prize pool is worth over £5,000, distributed across 9 distinct structural awards:
- Grand Prize: £1,000 cash award.
- NG Art Creative Residency Award: A 2-week artist residency in Provence, France.
- The Art Ladder Prize: A 1-year subscription to The Art Ladder mentorship program by Parker Harris, including two one-to-one mentoring sessions (valued at £800).
- Staedtler UK Award: Product selection worth over £300.
- Rosemary & Co Award: A £300 gift card.
- Founder’s Prize: £300 cash award.
- GreatArt Award: Art materials valued at £250.
- Michael Harding Watercolour Prize: Materials worth over £150.
- Michael Harding Oil Painter’s Prize: Materials worth over £150.
TECHNICAL & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Exhibition Sales: Shortlisted works can be made available for commercial sale during the online exhibition. New Emergence Art charges a low 10% commission on exhibition sales, with the remaining 90% of the listed price sent directly to the artist.
- Logistics: Artists retain full responsibility for the safe packaging and shipping of any works sold. Fulfillment details are coordinated with the team after sale confirmation.
- Specifications: Submit up to 3 artworks. Images must be high-resolution JPG files, maximum 2MB per file. Filenames must follow a strict naming convention:
FirstName LastName_Artwork Title.
Fees & Entry Rates
- 1 Artwork Entry: £15.00
- 2 Artwork Entries: £25.00
- 3 Artwork Entries: £30.00
How to Apply?
Pay the respective entry fee on the official platform to access the submission interface. Upload your formatted JPG files, populate the mandatory artwork metadata fields, and submit. Apply to the New Emergence Art Prize 2026.
