Short Description The Paleohori Dance Residency is a five-week immersive program on Lefkada Island, Greece, focused on dance as a reflective practice. Open to choreographers, dancers, and interdisciplinary artists, it provides a supportive environment for creative exploration, collaboration, and community-building. Participants will engage in movement practices, thematic workshops, collective book readings, and local cultural activities—all without a required final performance.   Duration: Five weeks   Themes of the Residency Decolonized dance techniques Decentralized dance narratives Choreo and micro-activisms Choreographic strategies for reflection Trauma, empowerment, and dance Posthumanism and eco-dance   Eligibility Choreographers, dancers, and artists from any discipline whose work aligns with the residency’s themes. Those interested in interdisciplinary, horizontal learning and community-driven creative processes.   Benefits Immersive environment with 12-16 participants.
