Title & Description

Position Title: School Research Project Administrator (Fixed-term)
This role provides administrative and project coordination support for research initiatives within the School of the Physical Sciences. The Administrator will help manage events, oversee timelines, maintain documentation, support researchers, and ensure the efficient progression of research deliverables. The position requires excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities, as well as strong capacity to work independently within an academic environment.

The Role Overview

  • Contract Type: Fixed-term (until 30 September 2026)
  • Salary: £29,605–£33,966 (Grade 5)
  • Working Hours: Full-time
  • Reporting to: School-level management and research leads
  • Programme: Research administration within the School of the Physical Sciences
  • Employment Requirement: Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
