Horton Art Gallery is located on the campus of San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. Visions In Clay was founded by the San Joaquin Potters Guild in 2002, and presented by the Horton
Art Gallery since 2010. Visions In Clay is one of the largest ceramic exhibitions in Northern California.
Visions In Clay is one of the largest ceramic exhibitions in Northern California. In addition to the Gallery exhibition, there is an exhibition website with individual webpages for exhibiting artists. Ceramic works of any thematic and stylistic presentation are eligible. Clay must be the primary medium. Artwork that has been previously exhibited at the Horton Art Gallery is not eligible.
Eligibility:
- Entry is open to artists residing in the U.S.
- Ceramic works of any thematic and stylistic
presentation are accepted for entry. Clay must be

Horton Art Gallery is not eligible for entry. - Artwork may not exceed 4ft. in any dimension.

- Best of Show $800 | 2nd Place $600 | 3rd Place $400
- San Joaquin Potters Guild Founders Award: $300
- Regional Artist Award: $800 (regional artist selected to present ceramic arts demonstration for Delta College ceramics students)

Entry Fees: $30 1 –3 entries / $45 4–6 entries
Payment of entry fees signifies the artist’s acceptance of all terms and conditions herein.
Entry fees are non-refundable unless show is cancelled by the Gallery.
