Brief Description:

Warimono Gallery invites visual artists to submit works for Dispatch, an online exhibition exploring themes of communication, transmission, and messaging. The exhibition runs from April 1 to May 31, 2025, showcasing artworks that reflect on how ideas travel, evolve, or get lost across time and space.

Eligibility:

  • Open to US-based and international artists
  • All visual art media are accepted

Theme:

Dispatch examines the flow of messages—how they are sent, received, altered, or lost. Artists are encouraged to reflect on visible and invisible communication networks through various interpretations, such as symbols, signals, gestures, or digital transmissions.

How to Apply:

  • Follow Warimono Gallery on Instagram and/or Facebook
  • Submit the following via email:
    • Name + Email
    • Instagram username + Website (optional)
    • Up to 5 images of original artwork (minimum 1350 pixels on longest side, under 5MB)
    • Label files: First Name, Last Name, Title
    • Artwork citations (Title, Year, Medium, Dimensions, Price)
    • Artist Statement (optional, but encouraged)
    • Explanation of how the work aligns with the theme (optional, but encouraged)

Submission Requirements:

  • All visual art media accepted
  • Works can be for sale or NFS (Not For Sale)
  • No application fee
  • Artists retain 100% of sales (gallery takes no commission)

Selection Process:

  • Curated by Warimono Gallery
  • Selection based on thematic relevance and artistic quality
  • Artists will be notified by March 24, 2025

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Selected artworks will be featured on Warimono Gallery’s website
  • No commission on sales – artists retain 100% of revenue
  • Promotion via social media and gallery platforms
