Short Description
With its offer, the Center for Cultural Participation Baden-Württemberg (ZfKT) supports the sustainable social opening of art and cultural institutions towards diversity and cultural participation for all people in Baden-Württemberg.
To this end, it strengthens the interdisciplinary networking, qualification and further training of all forces that are committed to cultural participation in Baden-Württemberg. It is dedicated to extracurricular cultural education and mediation issues for all ages.
The ZfKT was founded in 2021 by decision of the state parliament in Baden-Württemberg and is a demand-oriented service facility and a future-oriented source of inspiration.
Eligibility
Facilities, institutions and actors that can be assigned to the Art Department of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts. Such as: public and private theatres, socio-cultural centres, cinemas, clubs, permanent ensembles, orchestras, choirs, amateur music and theatre, post/migrant organisations, festivals, art and music academies, museums, galleries, art associations, literary institutions, libraries and archives, as well as the film and media sector.
In addition, the applicant organisations must be based in Baden-Württemberg.
The applicant organization must pursue charitable goals. Recognition of non-profit status is not required.
A simultaneous application for programmes tendered by the MWK, such as Perspektive Pop 2.0, is not a problem at first. If you would like to apply for both programs, please inform the ZfKT and MWK in good time to rule out double funding.
Within the framework of »Weiterkommen!«, process-based projects are funded that aim to advance cultural participation.

Program Benefits & Awards
Teams of at least three people who would like to advance with a joint project in the field of cultural education, cultural participation and mediation can apply.
The programme promotes two phases:
- Concept
- Testing
Both phases or only phase 1 can be applied for.
The funding amount is a minimum of €5,000, a maximum of €25,000.
For an application only for phase 1, the maximum funding amount is €20,000.
