Fabula Works

Fabula Works

Fabula Works is a curatorial platform dedicated to discovering and supporting new photographic voices, with a special focus on emerging artists from around the world. Through duo or solo exhibitions renewed every four to six weeks, we bring thoughtful and resonant visual narratives to the public.

Founded in Paris, Fabula Works considers itself a cultural actor in promoting contemporary photography, committed to creating spaces where images can spark dialogue and find an echo beyond the gallery space. The Latin word fabula refers to stories in their broadest sense, embracing everything between comedy and tragedy, and reflecting the diversity and complexity of human experience.

By covering print production and gallery costs, we aim to reduce financial barriers and make exhibitions more accessible, placing artists and their work at the centre of the process. Our approach is grounded in respect for authorship and in providing a dedicated gallery space where photography can be experienced in print, at scale, in material form, and beyond the limitations of screen-based viewing. Each exhibition is also accompanied by an online presentation, ensuring wider circulation of the selected works. In addition, curator’s picks are regularly featured on Fabula Works’ social media to highlight further submissions and extend visibility beyond the gallery walls.

Photography exhibitions curated by Fabula Works are presented at Millepiani in Rome, a space that has supported contemporary photographic practices for almost a decade.
