Kolodiumglass is an independent art studio and residency program based in Prague, focused on contemporary glass art and historical photographic processes. We work at the intersection of traditional craft and current artistic practice, with an emphasis on research, experimentation, and skill-sharing.
Our residency program provides artists and designers with time, workspace, and technical support to develop individual projects. Residents primarily work with kiln casting, with access to related techniques such as glass fusing, grinding, polishing, mold making, and sandblasting. The program is open to both emerging and established practitioners, regardless of prior experience with glass.
