Forge Project is a Native-led non-profit organization that fosters Indigenous leadership in arts and culture through community-building, education, and collective action. Situated on 38 acres in the Mahicannituck (Hudson River) valley, on the ancestral homelands of the Moh-He-Con-Nuck people, Forge Project supports Indigenous artists, scholars, and cultural workers.
For 2025, Forge Project is selecting six Indigenous fellows from diverse backgrounds in cultural practices, research, and organizing models. Two of these fellowships will be awarded to enrolled tribal members and First- or Second-Line Descendants of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, recognizing the Indigenous people whose homelands Forge Project occupies.
