Brief Description:
Kunsthof Niederarnsdorf, in collaboration with Kulturstiftung Thüringen, is offering four artist residencies focusing on sustainability in social, cultural, ecological, and economic contexts. The program encourages artistic research and methods that explore sustainable processes. It is open to professional visual artists and artistic researchers based in Thüringen, Germany.

Eligibility:
- Must be a professional visual artist or artistic researcher
- Must have a related art degree and proven professional experience
- Must be a resident of Thüringen (Germany)
- Students are not eligible

Selection Process:
- Selection by a jury consisting of previous residency recipients, a curator, and local stakeholders
- Artistic quality of the submitted work is the main criterion
Program Benefits/Awards:
- Grant: €2,500 (includes travel costs & materials)
- Accommodation: Private room or converted circus wagon
- Work Facilities: Shared studio, printmaking press, tapestry loom, easels, and work tables
- Workshops & Events: Open Studio Day, Artist Talks, and a final exhibition in November 2025
- Exhibition: Works created will be showcased at Kunsthof Niederarnsdorf and other regional venues
