Gallery Grounds invites submissions from artists of all abilities and disciplines for “Seeing the Unseen”, an exhibition focused on disability, access, and the human experience.

“SEEING THE UNSEEN” – ACCESS & EXPERIENCE IN ART
Gallery Grounds invites artists of all backgrounds and abilities to submit work for “Seeing the Unseen”, an inclusive exhibition exploring themes of accessibility, difference, and the ways we perceive and experience the world.
Taking place during Disability Awareness Week (10–16 May), this exhibition aims to shed light on the lived experiences, dreams, and artistic voices of individuals navigating the world in unique ways.
It invites reflection on physical, emotional, and social barriers, and encourages viewers to connect through empathy, imagination, and openness.

We welcome submissions from:

  • Artists who identify with diverse physical, sensory, or cognitive experiences
  • Artists exploring themes of care, access, the body, and perception
  • All mediums: painting, drawing, installation, digital media, sound, performance, participatory works, etc.
  • Works that consider inclusive engagement (e.g. tactile elements, audio description, braille, multi-sensory interaction)
  • Artists reflecting on change, resilience, and alternative ways of seeing

All exhibited works will be available for sale.
