Short Description
We are excited to welcome applications from arts and cultural organisations for the VAHA Transnational Networking Meeting organised in Prishtina between 10-14 September 2025. Up to 16 selected participants will be invited for networking and developing ideas for transnational exchanges with the VAHA III hubs.
VAHA will bring together civil society organisations, art spaces, cultural venues and organisations from Turkey and other Council of Europe countries. 23 representatives from the current 8 hubs and 16 newly selected organisations will attend the networking meeting.
The meeting is aimed to open up space to connect with like-minded organisations, enhance solidarity networks, and discuss transnational alliances within and beyond VAHA. We encourage the selected organisations to develop transnational exchanges within VAHA through reciprocal study visits or joint activities with our 8 hubs.
Eligibility
All types of organisations that operate within the arts and cultural fields in Council of Europe member states (CoE) and Kosovo, and organise public cultural activities are welcome to apply. We invite cultural actors from the listed countries to check out the cultural activities VAHA hubs have been working on and join us at the Transnational Networking Meeting in Prishtina for networking and further exchanges.
Civil society organisations, collectives, initiatives, cooperatives, companies and public institutions are eligible for application. In case your organisation does NOT have an officially registered non-profit status (initiative, collective etc.) or has a profit making status (such as café & bookstore, theatre, cinema, social entrepreneurship etc.), you can still apply but the Transnational Exchange Grant can only be transferred to the hub that you will partner up. Due to the funding rules that we are obliged to follow, only registered non-profit organisations can be granted in the VAHA programme.

Program Benefits & Awards
VAHA programme will cover all participants’ travel expenses such as accommodation, meals, and transportation for the events we expect you to attend during the programme (e.g. Transnational Networking Meeting). Participants are expected to agree with the programme coordination team in advance on the expenses and submit documents such as invoices and tickets after the trip to receive the reimbursement.
Transnational Exchange Grant: The grant will be provided for the engagement of an organisation after September 2025 in the hubs’ activities that have already started to be implemented in the hub’s cities. A grant of EUR 8,000 per exchange will be available for co-programming activities and events carried out in collaboration between hubs and their transnational partners. The partnership process will take place during the Transnational Networking Meeting in Prishtina. Please note that we expect the partnerships to be formed in between Turkey hubs and other CoE organisations as well as CoE hubs and Turkey
organisations.
Learning and Mobility Grant: A grant of EUR 2,000 per organisation (up to 20 organisations) for training and networking trips that contribute to participants’ professional knowledge and experiences, for visiting other organisations in the VAHA network, or for short residency trips aimed at supporting individuals working in challenging conditions. Please note that there will be a selection process based on the evaluation of applications, and the coordination team may consider a first-come, first-served basis due to the limited availability of the funds.
