Short Description

ENTRELLAÇ – ENTRELACS promotes artistic creation in the multimedia form and support for digital media through a professional program that includes a training and co-creation meeting, a nomadic artistic residency and a dissemination course. The call is aimed at collectives or artists who wish to work collectively (two people) with proposals that hybridize photography and sound art, allowing the incorporation of other artistic languages such as words.

Eligibility

  • Creators from or residing in a municipality of the Euroregion (Occitania, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands) can participate.
  • Participation is open to established art collectives as well as artists who wish to work together on this project. In both cases, a maximum of 2 members is accepted.
  • Have the ability to charge fees or exhibition fees.
  • Be available for an online interview if requested by the jury or the organization.
  • Projects that go against people’s fundamental rights will be excluded from this call.

Submission Requirements

  • Attach a file on the work of the artists containing the artistic approach, the artistic trajectory of the collective or the members of the group (in the form of a CV or text) with an emphasis on the recent work of the collective or of the two artists. The application must be a maximum of 10 pages and 10 MB.
  • Description of the project to be developed, containing: description of the interest in participating in the residency, motivations for working collectively, brief presentation of the idea to be developed collectively, which must be the link between the three territories (Occitania, Balearic Islands and Catalonia). The application must be a maximum of 3 pages and 1 MB.

Program Benefits & Awards

  • The return trip from the usual place of residence of the two artists at all stages of the project, within the limit of €330 per stage and per group of two artists. The organizers will be responsible for the management of the tickets.
  • Hosting at all stages of the project.
  • Subsistence at the professional meeting in La Nuu and at all stages of the broadcast tour.
  • Fees of 3900 € in total for the two artists, to be paid in three installments of 1300 €.
  • Royalties of €1500 in total for the two artists for participation in the broadcast tour, which will be paid in three installments of €500.

GENERAL COMMITMENTS OF THE COLLECTIVE

  • Present a brief report on the project developed and a minimum of 4 images of the project.
  • Authorise Es FAR Cultural, Ull x Ull and Maison Salvan to use their personal image and visual, audiovisual and/or sound documentation of their work for non-commercial communication and dissemination purposes.
  • Mention should be made of the support of Es FAR Cultural, Ull x Ull and Maison Salvan in all the communication and dissemination actions of the project carried out within the framework of ENTRELLAÇ.
  • All costs not detailed in the “help provided” section of these rules are the responsibility of the participating collective.
  • The result of this call will be communicated by e-mail. The collective undertakes to accept or reject their possible selection within a maximum of 5 working days from the date of communication.
  • He accepts the terms of this call and the rules of the creation centers which will be communicated to him at the beginning of the residency.
