Short Description
ILLAPSE is the artist residency program of Lapse. The program offers a studio space in Barcelona where artists and other professionals within the field of contemporary art can develop their work. The ILLAPSE studio is located within the Lapse facilities, where the resident will share common areas with three other artists.
Residents are welcomed to give a public presentation of their work, either during an open studio session or in the form of a talk. Lapse welcomes proposals that incorporate a wide range of media and contemporary artistic practices. We are particularly interested in innovative projects that prioritize interdisciplinary experimentation and the exchange of knowledge across fields and cultures. By fostering collaboration and dialogue, our aim is to enrich the creative process and generate unique perspectives — blending diverse methodologies and viewpoints to create impactful results.
