Short Description
The Photo Trouvée Artist Residency is a 10 week virtual program led by Juliana Naufel & Twiggy Boyer–founders of Photo Trouvée Magazine– in which artists are invited to set goals, carve out time for their art practice, focus on a project and connect with like-minded artists from around the world. Only 9 slots will be available and there is an application process to join the Fall 2025 cohort.
Goals
- Making connections with like-minded artists and engaging in a supportive community to develop your work
- Getting inspired, researching and dedicating time to your art practice
- Committing to a project during the ten weeks (making art, continuing or starting a new body of work, researching, exploring, learning, letting go of something… etc)
- Giving feedback & providing accountability to the other participating artists
- Feeling empowered through community
Eligibility
Artists and creatives from anywhere in the world and at any stage of their career are welcome to apply. Artists should work with or be inspired by found or family photographs to attend to this program and can work in any medium. The ability to collaborate and interact in English is preferred as the program will be conducted in English, however, we do not want this to be a limiting factor to your participation and will work on solutions if the need arises.
