Short Description

Have you ever wanted to discover how to use your camera, phone, or tablet to create art? Or perhaps you want to master Procreate and other creative platforms to produce your own original pieces?

If this sounds like you, the Bindi Digital Art Program may be right for you. Bindi is offering beginner-level Digital Arts workshops. These short part-time courses will help you learn basic skills to create digital artworks on an iPhone, iPad or other devices.

We understand that as an emerging artist, you might need support to access programs and realise your aspirations.

Eligibility

Open to all artists. Works must have been created within the past 12 months and not previously exhibited.
Formats Accepted:
Still Images: TIFF files only
Moving Images: MP4 files only (GIFs must be converted to MP4)
Size Limits:
Still images: max A1 (59.4 cm x 84.1 cm), minimun 300dpi
Moving images: max 10 minutes in length

Submission Requirements

  • Artist name and title of artwork clearly labeled
  • A brief description of how the work was created, including:
  • Medium (e.g., digital drawing, photography, AI-assisted, etc.)
  • Software or tools used
  • Installation instructions (if applicable; we may not be able to accommodate all preferences)

Program Benefits & Awards

With a prize of $3000 for the winning work, and $500 for the People’s Choice Award, this all-abilities art prize will showcase the artistic talent of those in and around Mparntwe/Alice Springs and invites national artists to share their talent with our community.
