Short Description

In 1959, the first special show of European jewelry and fine equipment took place at the International Crafts Fair (IHM). It is regarded as the inaugural exhibition for the SCHMUCKmünchen special show, which has been held every March since 1962. The goldsmiths’ engagement with the aesthetics of our time makes the exhibition an impressive event each year that draws significant international attention. New, unfamiliar solutions are just as crucial in the selection process as the results of long, continuous work at a high level.

Every year, we receive about 700 applications to participate in the special show. Each year, a curator is in charge of selecting the pieces. This ensures that the exhibition will continually develop its own character and showcase a diverse array of works from a wide range of countries.

Eligibility

Your submission should not be older than two years and we only exhibit wearable jewelry (no packages, texts, photographs, or installations). Aside from the shipping fee, your participation in the SCHMUCKmünchen show is free of charge. For more information, please read the guidelines on the right.
