Short Description
The Fausto Pirandello Foundation is pleased to announce the third edition of the of the Fausto Pirandello Painting Prize. The first edition, held in 2021, and the second, held in 2023, were received with great interest both by the young participating artists, and by the municipalities that hosted the exhibitions. This year, the event will be held again in the Municipality of Anticoli Corrado.
Also for this reason edition, the Fausto Pirandello Prize is promoted with deep conviction by the President of the Foundation, Giovanna Carlino Pirandello, with the intention of to honour the memory of her husband Pierluigi – son of the artist and founder of the Fausto Pirandello Foundation – but also to continue in the work of enhancing and disseminating his father-in-law’s work and, not by finally, to support and promote the talent of young artists.
The theme chosen for this edition is: the body. Artists are invited to reflect on the nude as a vehicle for introspective expression, exploring all its possible facets.
