Short Description
Actor, producer, musician, Will Smith and the Supporting Act Foundation are partnering to uplift emerging artists across Europe. As part of this partnership, The Will Smith Emerging Artist Fund has been created to support emerging music artists from underrepresented groups in the countries included in the 2025 “Based on a True Story” Summer Tour.
Eligibility
Emerging music artists from underrepresented groups, 18-30 years old, based in one of the countries that are part of Will Smith’s 2025 Based on a True Story Tour in Europe:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Norway, Spain, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
Submission Requirements
You’ll need to complete the online application form and record a short video (maximum 3 minutes) introducing yourself and your artistic practice. In the video, please explain how the grant will support your development as an emerging artist. You don’t need professional equipment –a simple phone recording is fine. Alongside the video, you’ll also need to fill out a survey. A preview of all application questions is available in Annex 1 of the guide.
*This open call is not for: managers, agents, duos, bands or collectives. Former or current TSAF grantees are also not eligible.
